Pretentious Word of the Week: Mugwumpian (Day 115)

Today's Pretentious Word of the Week is brought to you by Webster's Third New International Dictionary and Seven Language Dictionary, Unabridged: Volume 2, H-R. Mugwumpian, today's word, will be a very fun word for you to use.

Mugwumpian: "of, suggesting, or being a mugwump"
Mugwump: "1: a person of importance, 2: a bolter from the Republican part in the presidential election of 1884, a regular member who bolts a party and adopts an independent position, 3: one who is undecided or neutral, often as a result of an inability to make up his mind"

...Oh the possibilities. What a wonderful word for being pretentious with.
