Comic-con: The Super Compact Version (Day 79)

So you are clearly wondering what Comic-con was like, since you read my blog on Saturday. Here's my review.

Good Stuff: Costumes, costumes, costumes. Seeing Kevin Sorbo pose for pictures with people. Watching random amateur wrestling. Chasing a giant dwarf through the crowd. First centaur costume I've ever seen. Miniature dalek costume. Not getting bored because there was too much to do in too little time. Three Batmans beating up one Joker.

Bad Stuff: Long line-ups for food. Getting scared of talking to celebrities. Ended too quickly. Long costume contest in a cold room. ATMs ran out of money, so what cash you brought was what you had.

Random Stuff: Amateur wrestling...at a comic convention. As in comic books, and games, and comic book art, and comic book costumes comic convention. Where does the amateur wrestling come in?

That's not very coherent, but it was a good time. I stood there with three other women discussing if we could share the cost of taking a photo with Kevin Sorbo, 15 feet away from Kevin Sorbo. We didn't, but it strikes me as interesting that the four of us, with different t.v. tastes, should all want a photo with the fellow. Evidently he is one of those super likeable celebrities.
