Review Day: Thumbelina's On The Road (Day 89)

This morning small children invaded my house and at one point started to watch Thumbelina. I had forgotten that there were Spanish toads. Creepy kidnapper Spanish toads that in a feat of amazingness are convincingly Spanish. At least the speaking part anyway. They, in the storyline, want Thumbelina marry the grumpy son and sing, making them rich, and thus must convince her not to marry Prince Cornelius(what an amazing name). Here is their song of convincingness, On The Road.
Spanishness: 1) They use real Spanish words. 2) Their accents are believable most of the time 3) Happy impulsiveness which reminded me of Spain 4) I think they tried to make Mama Toad look and act like a flamenco dancer. She has big hair, a dotted "dress", and does salsa/flamenco dance moves.
Song: Fast and fun. "You're not a toad, but that's what make-up's for", "You're in the union, yes?"
Dance: It had a dance. As cartoons go, it was pretty good.
The 'Why' Factor: Mama Toad has scary scary circle boobs, a dress that does not cover what it is intended for, and huge feet. Why? The clown toad is also super creepy and has a 'stache.

Other than that these are evil(creepy) toads intending to make Thumbelina their pawn, this song is probably my second favourite song of the movie. I give it a 3.5 our of 5.
